Letters, ca. 1885-1889.

Collection includes three letters to the art critic, Philippe Gille (1885-1889) in which he requests a review citing verses by Le comte de Lisle written in honor of one of Christophe's works; he hopes to gain the attention of the Beaux-arts administrator Turquet; and he asks for an obituary of the engraver Edmond Hedouin. In the latter he also points out exhibited works of his own that best exemplify his technique in bronze.
